Handwriting/Keyboarding Without Tears: K-5: Log in

The Handwriting Without Tears printing and cursive programs draw from years of innovation and research to provide developmentally appropriate, multi-sensory tools and strategies. HWT teaches the easiest skills first and builds on prior knowledge as children progress through each grade level.  This teaching order is consistent throughout all ages and follows a developmental teaching sequence based on the skills and abilities of students in a each grade.  The dynamic keyboard breaks the keyboard into small units to help children easily locate letters.  Speeds and accuracy spot checks measure letters per minute, words per minute and accuracy through the program.  Game-based lessons and activities across different subject areas keep students engaged and excited to learn.
